Resource Manager
Responsibility for developing the companies’ approach and strategy towards resourcing talent. Drive forwards the strategy and recruit top talent.
Job Role and Responsibilities
Managerial
- Coach, mentor and supervise the resource team and report on its performance.
- Execute a resourcing strategy across the team.
- Drive resourcing activities using data to monitor team performance.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager with all staff training and development.
- Create and modify resourcing procedures to drive continuous improvements.
Resourcing
- Identify, attract and engage candidates to fulfil specific recruitment briefs and requirements.
- Provide support and service to the internal delivery function.
- Proactively track and continuously manage the journey of a candidate customer.
- Identify new business opportunities for the business development team through candidate lead generation.
- Research and map out new and existing customers for potential new candidates.
- Actively map and build “hot” candidate lists that can strategically support the Account Management Division.
- Screen prospective candidates over the telephone.
- Advise clients on market conditions and suitable time to hire.
- Provide pre-employment checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation.
- Comply with company management systems, reporting and quality procedures including accurate database management.
- Utilise media platforms to develop and enhance your candidate networks.
- Collaborate with the Account Management Division to identify and assess suitable candidates.
- Responsible for all candidate engagement in relation to the recruitment process.
- Post all client vacancies to the company website.
Key Competence/Skill Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’s resourcing experience – full candidate management throughout a recruitment life cycle, expert in searching job boards and social media to fill niche roles.
- Coaching and mentoring experience.
- Ability to influence and engage candidates at all levels.
- Working to strict targets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Process driven.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Advanced Technical / Computing / IT skills.
