An enthusiastic and capable recruiter with a background in engineering and technical recruitment, Layla supports our Head of Recruitment & Operations, Sarah Howard, ensuring delivery of all contract and permanent recruitment services across a range of specialist sectors.
Helping our clients to fill a whole host of engineering, construction and technical vacancies, Layla adds substantial value, not only because of her background in business, but also due to her natural ability to quickly grasp the technical aspects behind each vacancy. Thanks to this knowledge, she can communicate extremely effectively, putting her in an ideal position to build rapport with everyone she represents.
Present throughout the entire process, Layla goes out of her way to understand candidates, whilst her down to earth and approachable nature helps her appreciate their motivations and challenges, creating meaningful relationships along the way.
Key responsibilities
- Coaching, mentoring, and supervising the resource team
- Identifying, screening, attracting and engaging candidates to fulfil specific recruitment briefs
- Providing pre-employment checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation.
- Researching and mapping out new and existing customers for potential new candidates.
- Complying with company management systems, reporting and quality procedures.
